Medication Outcomes

Here are some of the things my adult patients who have tried medication for the first time have said to me:

I feel like I'm who I was in high school, this was what I was like: I could read and remember, I could plan to do things and execute the plan, I wasn't full of shame and self criticism.

I've got my life back; medication is helping me have the confidence to start the things I've been putting off

I always thought it was just that I didn't have enough willpower.
It gives me more confidence in my own intuition.

My mind is quieter and calmer.

Life-changing! I thought I was stupid and just couldn't get organized or do things without procrastinating.

I no longer dwell on the negative outcomes in my life.

I don't perseverate when I feel rejected, I'm able to let it go.

Medication isn't for everyone but in my experience, you should give it a try and see how or if it helps you with executive function and emotional regulation.
