When I was first diagnosed with ADHD as a young adult, I shrugged it off. I had done well in school, I didn’t see myself as scattered or hyperactive, and I wasn’t the kid bouncing off the walls. But I soon learned that ADHD in adults rarely looks like it does in children—and that it carries serious, long-term consequences when left untreated.

It's visible in how you are (or aren't) at work. It shows up in your closest relationships. It even plays a role in how you drive a car or manage your health. And most of all, it disrupts how you manage your emotions—your frustration, shame, sensitivity, even joy.

As I looked more closely at my own story, the pattern became unmistakable. ADHD was there all along. And when I reflected on my clinical work, I saw it in my clients too—intelligent, insightful people who struggled silently with chronic overwhelm, emotional reactivity, and a relentless inner critic. Many had no idea that ADHD was at the root.

That insight changed everything. For me, and for them.

This is why I specialize in helping adults with ADHD. Once you begin to see your life through the lens of ADHD—how it has shaped your decisions, reactions, and relationships—something powerful happens. You gain clarity. You begin to make sense of things that never quite added up. And that’s where change begins.

Your life can be different. Understanding is the first step.
